Empowering Lives Through Compassion
Reaching the lost and hurting, meeting physical and spiritual needs through Jesus’ love.
Reaching the lost and hurting, meeting physical and spiritual needs through Jesus’ love.
John 8:12
In 2001, I became homeless and eventually, on crack cocaine where I remained for five years. Was with a man that had nothing to provide for me or my younger daughter who was with me in the beginning. I ended up letting my sister take her so that she would be safe. I signed all rights away to her. My addictions spiraled out of control after that. I was in jail several time that led me to state jail for 6 months. Many times to county because the police officers were trying to get me forced to go back home. My mom had tough loved me so that wasn’t an option. So many broken promises, so many failed attempts for change. I had started dating another man that had a little more to offer, we rented a room out of his brothers house so we now had somewhat a home. I did many things in that life to get drugs that I had never thought of doing to provide for my daughters. I was insanely out of control. By now, I was on my own sleeping wherever I could find a place, that’s if I slept.
In 2006, I was told about Life Change for Women by Dr IV Hilliard. I was given the opportunity to to go and all my needs were med such as clothes, hygiene, etc. I entered on July 6, 2006 and graduated in Oct 2006, 90 days later. My life was truly changed. Every need provided for as I transitioned back to life. I started very quickly giving back to God for all He had done for me. Eventually, I was able to provide meals for a few, we then served meals for 100 at one time before I moved away for a job. Coming back to Houston Dec 2022, I started out small again and working my way into God's plan for my life. I love to encourage all those homeless to not give up, I tell them a piece of my story to let them know I understand and know how they feel I tell them who was behind my new life (God) and that if He did it for me, He would surely do it for them. I give them the gospel and the chance to receive salvation. Some have accepted and many have not. I will continue to remain faithful to the calling God has on my life to help others out of whatever their situation is. To God Be The Glory.

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ: His birth, sinless life, sacrifice for our sins, resurrection, and His return in power and glory.
Our Ministry:
We serve the homeless through monthly outreach, providing meals, clothing, hygiene items, and sometimes snack bags—sharing both practical help and the love of Christ.
